When these two teams met last time in Asia Cup 2018, now 20th ranked in ICC Men’s T20I Team Rankings Hong Kong turned out to be a lethal opponent to face for India; however, in the end they fell short of just 26 runs in a high scoring match.

If India win today, they will surely qualify for the next round of the tournament.

Earlier last night, Afghanistan secured their second consecutive win in Asia Cup 2022 by beating Bangladesh.

Batting first, helped by Mosaddek Hossain’s 48 runs, Bangladesh managed to put a moderate score of 127 runs for 7 in 20 overs.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Rashid Khan picked up 3 wickets each.

Afghanistan reached the target in 18.3 overs with 7 wickets still in hand. Ibrahim Zadran and Najibullah Zadran scored 42 and 43 runs respectively.
