Just ahead of the much-awaited clash with India in ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, Pakistan will play their second warm-up match against Afghanistan at The Gabba in Brisbane on Wednesday.

In their first warm-up match, Pakistan suffered a six-wicket defeat against England at Brisbane on October 17.

Two more warm-up matches will also take place on Wednesday. Bangladesh will play against South Africa while India will face New Zealand.

Meanwhile, all four teams of Group B of the First Round will be in action as well at Bellerive Oval in Hobart on Wednesday.

In the first match, Ireland and Scotland will wrestle at 09:00 am PST whereas later West Indies will lock horn with Zimbabwe at 01:00 pm PST.

In the Points Table of First Round, Netherlands are atop in Group A with 4 points after two matches followed by Namibia and Sri Lanka at number 2 and 3 respectively with 2 points each.

While in Group B, Scotland are currently occupying the first spot and Zimbabwe are at second place.

Earlier on Tuesday, Namibia defeated Netherlands by 5 wickets at Kardinia Park in Geelong.

Batting first, Namibia scored 121 for 6 in stipulated 20 overs. Netherlands reached the target in 19.3 overs with 5 wickets still in hand.

In another match, Sri Lanka thrashed United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 79 runs.

Chasing a target of 153 runs set by Sri Lanka, UAE were bowled out for just 73 runs.

Sri Lanka’s opener Pathum Nissanka bagged Man of the Match award for his 74 runs off 60 balls.
