EducationPTV provides multimedia support to AIOU for improving its academic courses

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Television Academy will provide professional support to Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOUI) to enrich its academic courses through multimedia support.

At the concluding ceremony of three-week training of the University’s professional staff involved in course development, the two sides showed willingness to maintain their bilateral cooperation in education sector on permanent basis.

   

Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Shahid Siddiqui said the training course proved very successful developing skill of producers and designers of its Institute of Educational technology (IET).

“AIOU, being learning organization attached high importance to updating and equipping their staff with new developments, so as to provide best educational services to the students”, he added.

Dr Siddiqui said that the AIOU was actively engaged in strengthening IET to provide efficient multimedia support to 1.3 million students across Pakistan.

Earlier, Director IET Mir Mukhtar Ahmed Talpur highlighted the main features of the training program, hoping it will prove a milestone in the professional training of their staff on modern lines.

Director PTV Training Academy Muzammil Ahmad Khan hoped that collaborative partnership with AIOU would be beneficial for promoting the cause of education.
