Monitoring Desk: PTI’s official in the United States has written an Open Letter to President-elect Donald Trump to take action against Pakistan, including stopping USAID funding, and military training to Pakistan and putting the officials’ names under the list of Specially Designated Nationals.
This letter is signed by several individuals who cited their organizations with their names. Now this is the responsibility of officials of Pakistan to check whether these organizations cited by individuals in the letters are registered under the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) and the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) or they are just groups having names such as Democracy And Human Rights Alliance (DHRA), First Pakistan Global, Vision for Pakistan, Friends of Democratic Pakistan and Coalition to Change U.S. Policy on Pakistan (CUSP) because their legal status is important for writing against a country to their (US) President. Moreover, their legal status as US citizens should also be important in this case because the letter is glaring inciting to take action against a sovereign country.
This letter raised serious allegations against Pakistan such as that former prime minister Imran Khan was the victim of a Biden-era policy to target leaders around the world who challenged their dictates, including by seeking neutrality on matters such as the conflict in Ukraine, providing steady political and diplomatic cover for Khan’s removal, reimposition of deeply unpopular and corrupt parties (PMLN-PPP etc) controlled by the military, around 10,000 supporters of Imran Khan’s in prison, Pakistani military opened fire on a large pro-democracy rally, killing and injuring hundreds, and then attempted to cover up the crime by intimidating doctors and victims’ families. The letter demands visa bans and asset freezes of senior Pakistani officials, including Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) designations, a pause in USAID funding, and/or a suspension of coveted U.S. military training. Since these allegations are serious, therefore this is the foremost responsibility of the government of Pakistan to take legal measures and ask the signatories to prove/justify their allegations against the state of Pakistan and its institutions.
PTI circles claim that the party is trying to add the issue of Imran Khan in the speech First Speech of the President which symbolizes the future policy of any US President. On the other hand, the PTI is engaged in political dialogue with the government to cool down the political heat in Pakistan. This PTI’s move laughs at political parties that expressed a desire to solve political issues with PTI.
According to PTI circles, the initiators and lobbyists of this letter include Dr. Moeed Pirzada and Wajahat S. Khan. In Greek mythology, one can find several hybrid creatures (creatures that have parts of both humans and animals) but this is also a myth that when a hybrid creature grows up, it eats or at least try to eat its creature, therefore hybrid creatures had been symbols of deceit, treachery, and deception. In Russian literature, such creatures are symbols of lowlife (troublemakers). In Pakistan, there were factories where Ph.D. scholars, journalists, writers, columnists, anchors, and political analysts had been produced as ‘need-base’ arrangements. Among known names are Dr. Moeed Pirzada and Wajahat S. Khan. The recent letter from them to President-elect Donald Trump shows why men of vision still cite Greek mythology. These bunch of opportunists hiding in the USA, on the conclusion of the Biden administration. This letter is a testimony to the fact that they were never Pakistanis and only wanted to make their money by selling Pakistan. Utter humiliation indeed.
