PTI’s civil disobedience not to be observed in KPK: provincial minister

PESHAWAR, Pakistan: The civil disobedience as announced by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday night will not be observed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the provincial information minister Mushtaq Ghani said.

The minister said that citizens should pay taxes to the provincial government but not to the federal government because the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has never been implicated in any case of corruption.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa information minister also warned that the provincial government will stop the flow of water to other areas of the country coming from Tarbela Dam if the federal government disconnect power supply to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as stated by Abid Sher Ali.
