ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation’s (PTDC) nine major development projects across the country are nearing to completion, Managing Director Abdul Ghafoor said Thursday.

Talking to the state-run news agency, he said the under construction projects, located in Gwadar, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Balochistan, Sindh, would help revive tourism sector in the country.

   

“The Azad Jammu and Kashmir projects would be completed at a cost of around Rs 25 million while Tourist Facilitation Centre in Gilgit-Baltistan would cost Rs around 20 million.

Moreover, he said “Tourism Facilitation Center at Quetta would be completed at the cost of Rs 20 million.

“Extension in Moenjodaro Motel would be completed at a cost of Rs. 15 millions,” he said.

PTDC tourists Facilitation Center at Karachi would be constructed at a cost of Rs 15 million, he added.

He said a sum of Rs 30 million has been allocated for the establishment of Motel at Swat, while TFC/PTDC head office in federal capital would be completed at a cost of Rs 30 million.
