ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) will soon launch a Portal to promote the Country’s tourist attractions across the globe through virtual galleries, videos, and documentaries.

Talking to the state-run news agency in Islamabad on Wednesday, a Senior Officer of the PTDC told that the exclusive E-Portal will provide a world class exposure to Pakistan’s tourist attractions through one click.

The PTDC Officer said that the Tourism Portal would consist of a user-friendly interface to interact with prospective tourists and give them the necessary and latest information about the Country’s tourist attractions.PTDC - The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) will soon launch a Portal to promote the Country’s tourist attractions across the globe through virtual galleries, videos and documentaries. Separately, the PTDC will also soon launch a 10-year road-map to invigorate the Tourism Industry. In a recent meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan had Okayed the National Tourism Strategy (2020-2030) to harness the Sector’s potential under a multi-pronged strategy. The Officer said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government has assigned the task of preparing a comprehensive 10-year National Tourism Strategy to the PTDC by engaging tourism experts of Public and Private Sectors.

Separately, the PTDC will also soon launch a 10-year road-map to invigorate the Country’s Tourism Industry.

In a recent meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan had okayed the National Tourism Strategy (2020-2030) to harness the Sector’s potential under a multi-pronged strategy.

The Officer said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has assigned the task of preparing a comprehensive 10-year National Tourism Strategy to the PTDC by engaging tourism experts of Public and Private Sectors.

Last month, Prime Minister Imran Khan formed a 12-member National Coordination Committee on Tourism.

The Committee was aimed to facilitate and coordinate the government’s commitment to give tourism a priority in mainstream development and steer the Country towards becoming the fastest-growing tourism destination.
