PSIC to set up Cultural Center in new Punjab Assembly building

LAHORE, Pakistan: A delegation of the Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC) led by the Director Creative and Cultural Yawar Mehdi met the Punjab Assembly Secretary Coordination Rai Mumtaz Hussain Babar in Lahore on February 22.

The delegation briefed him about the PSIC’s contribution for the promotion of crafts & culture and conveyed the message of the Managing Director Punjab Small Industries Corporation Jameel Ahmed Jameel for setting up a Cultural Center in the new Assembly building.

On this occasion, a set of 14 PSIC publications on handicrafts of Punjab was presented for the Assembly Library.

The Punjab Assembly Secretary Coordination issued directives to all concerned for proper space for Cultural Centre by the PSIC in the new building.

After the meeting, the delegation was given a tour of the new building of the Punjab Assembly.

It’s worth noting that the PSIC has established Handicrafts Development Centers as well as Handicraft Shops in various Cities of Punjab for the marketing of the handicraft items of craftsmen.
