ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan will not tender his resignation and will fight till the last ball, the Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said.

In a Twitter statement on Wednesday, the information minister said that the stage will be set and witnessed by both foes and friends.

Meanwhile, after the department of its key ally Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) from the Federal Cabinet, Prime Minister Imran Khan has practically lost the majority in the Parliament.

The MQM-P’s Law Minister Barrister Dr. Farogh Naseem and the Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Syed Amin ul Haq have resigned from the Posts.

It happened after an agreement was reached between MQM-P and the joint opposition last night.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan summoned a Special Session of the Federal Cabinet in Islamabad to take the Cabinet Members and other participants into confidence about the threatening document.

However, Balochistan Awami Party’s (BAP) leader Khalid Magsi and MQM leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui excused themselves to attend the Cabinet Meeting.

Sources said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s disgruntled Aleem Khan Group has also announced to extend an unconditional support to the opposition in Punjab; therefore, now PTI’s provincial government even with nominated Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi as the Chief Minister is in trouble.
