In Utility Stores, a wide range of food and non-food items are provided to the public at comparatively cheaper rates than the Open Market. For instance, a 20-kg bag of flour – which is being sold at Rs 1,705 in the Open Market – is available at Utility Stores for Rs 1,295.

Likewise, prices of other food items such as Daal Chana (lentils) and White Gram are cheaper upto 12 percent at Utility Stores as compared to the Open Market.
