Islamabad: Elections in Pakistan are on May 11, 2013. A total of 4,671 candidates are contesting for 272 general seats in the National Assembly while 10,958 candidates are contesting for provincial assemblies. The total number of registered voters for general elections is 86,189,802 out of which 37,597,415 are female voters and 48,592,387 are male voters.
