ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader Syed Khursheed Shah on Wednesday said they would give the Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan the fullest opportunity to run his government in the Centre.
“We want Imran Khan to practice upon his 100 days plan and we will not create hurdles in his way,” Khursheed Shah said while talking to media in Islamabad wherein a protest was underway outside the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) by an 11-party opposition alliance “Pakistan Alliance for Free and Fair Elections (PAFFE)” against the alleged rigging in general elections held on July 25.
Khursheed Shah said they would hold a silent protest against the ECP. He said the ECP supported one party in the elections, adding today almost all the parties were protesting.
Talking to media, the PPP leader Sherry Rehman said they demanded the Election Commission to resign over its failure to conduct impartial and transparent elections.
Sherry Rehman said they would convince and agree all to take oath in the Parliament. “We will go to the Parliament and will unite all the political parties,” she said.
The PPP leader said it was necessary that they should remain calm and peaceful and don’t take the Country towards violence.
