ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday admitted to have made a mistake as they could not abolish the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) law, despite knowing that it was promulgated under the martial law regime.

Talking to media representatives outside the Accountability Court in Islamabad, Nawaz Sharif said they all had agreed upon the issue that the Country’s judicial system should have been reformed.

Nawaz Sharif also said they didn’t purchase London flats using the national treasury. He said opponents should have proved the allegation that they had made assets while earning money through corruption.

Meanwhile while reacting over Nawaz Sharif’s statement regarding the NAB law, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Secretary Information Maula Bux Chandio said Nawaz Sharif had always conspired against the democracy and democratic forces.

The PPP secretary information said Nawaz Sharif had declared that it was his biggest mistake not to abolish the NAB Law. He said the former prime minister should have told them about any achievement, he had made.

Maula Bux Chandio said whenever Nawaz Sharif talked about his past he declared his every step as a mistake. He said now Nawaz Sharif admitted that articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution, approaching the Supreme Court in the Memogate Scandal and the postponement of the meeting with the Co-Chairman PPP Asif Ali Zardari all were a mistake.
