Meanwhile, the Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has also given an approval for the terms of reference (ToRs) of the Executive Council established for separate province of South Punjab. A mandate has been assigned to the Executive Council for legislation of measures for the separate province.
Likewise, the South Punjab Executive Council Secretariat has also been established at the Chief Minister’s Office in Lahore.
It is worth noting that earlier this month, Prime Minister Imran Khan approved the formation of a Special Executive Council for the creation of Southern Punjab.
A special executive council for the formation of South Punjab province has been created by the Prime Minister as promised. For far too long South Punjab has been ignored and denied it’s rights. 1/2
