The battle for PTI’s takeover enters into critical phase

PoliticsThe battle for PTI’s takeover enters into critical phase

Islamabad, Pakistan: After the founder of PTI went to jail, the first damage that happened to PTI was the beginning of the process of division and now this process of division has progressed towards chaos and disintegration in the party but the damage was not so grave because Faiz Factor was bridging the gap and managing the networking within the jail providing founder of PTI to be in contact with the outer world.

Now things have changed since Faiz Factor is in military custody so the Gang of Niazi is no longer fully operational.

It seemed that the war of control within the party was going on among Sher Afzal Marwat, Gauhar Khan, Umar Ayub Khan, Shibli Faraz, etc. At the home ground, Aleema Khan and Bushra Bibi are drawing daggers so the follower of the Imran Cult is sandwiched between a home-grown fiasco and the party’s hierarchy. Political analysts are of the view that Aleema Khan knows that the fate of his brother is in shamble because later or sooner he would be tried in Military Court under sedation charges and there would be no one like judges of higher judiciary that consider her brother as their blue-eyed boy. Sensing the situation Aleema wants to get hold of the party officially and would soon demand a new party election so she can maneuver to become chairperson of the party.

According to political analysts, after the cancellation of the Lahore and Islamabad public gathering, Aleema Khan became more active in the political field and she also visited Khyber Pakhtunkhwa without informing Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, who strongly responded against her visit to his province without his permission. After this development, Aleema Khan and CM Ali Amin Gandapur had a war of words and exchanged harsh statements and everyone is linking it to a deep disagreement. There are attempts to take over the party and this is not being digested by other leaders because Aleema Khan is the sister of the founder of PTI, so social media trolling cannot be done against her.

To cool down the situation, a committee was formed headed by former president Arif Alvi to end the internal differences of the party, and the formation of the committee testifies differences among party members are grave and could go beyond the control of everybody.
