LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Friday said serving the humanity was his mission, adding the provincial government had been providing every kind of funds for the hospitals.

In his address at the Inaugural Ceremony of Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital in Khana Nau, Shahbaz Sharif said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government had built five hospitals in Lahore and its surrounding areas.

Shahbaz Sharif said women, children and old citizens were being provided best medical facilities in the hospitals of Punjab. He said the surgical tower of Mayo Hospital had Europe like facilities in it.

The construction of the THQ Hospital in Khana Nau costed Rs 55 million. The hospital has the capacity of more than 100 beds, as well as has an emergency with the capacity of 15 beds.

Earlier in a statement, Shahbaz Sharif said the PML-N had always attached top priority to interest of the Country.

The Punjab Chief Minister said He the government had completed mega projects with transparency, quality and fast pace. He said despite all hurdles, the government would continue journey of development and prosperity in the Country.

Shahbaz Sharif said the people of Pakistan were fed up with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) because they had only promoted the culture of baseless allegations and lies.
