ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) on Tuesday suspended all postings, transfers and deputations made by the outgoing caretaker government over the past three-month tenure.

A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, heard a petition in this regard and issued this orders, suspending a notification of postings, transfers and deputations made by the caretaker regime.

The bench also sought relevant record from Attorney General of Pakistan Irfan Qadir and all federal secretaries, other than the Secretary Establishment Division.

Officials said a final court decision in this regard is expected in Friday’s hearing
