ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The former Prime Minister and Founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has made significant decisions regarding the party’s structure.
Sources said that the incarcerated leader has separated the party’s parliamentary and practical political affairs.
The Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Omar Ayub and Opposition Leader in the Senate Shibli Faraz will lead the Parliamentary Team.
Imran Khan has assigned the responsibility of practical politics to Salman Akram Raja, appointing him as the Secretary General of PTI. Salman Akram Raja will now fulfill the responsibilities as the PTI’s Secretary General.
Additionally, a think tank will be formed under the leadership of Rauf Hassan, who will oversee the issuance of a white paper on government performance and manage electoral matters.
Sources indicated that notifications regarding these decisions by the PTI Founder will be issued after the public gathering near Sangjani in Islamabad.
