PoliticsRifts have developed in PML-N: Pervaiz Elahi

LAHORE, Pakistan: The Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said that rifts have developed in Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), and also remarked that PML-N failed to impart political training to its workers.

Talking to media representatives in Lahore on Wednesday, Pervaiz Elahi said that the former Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif intentionally destroyed all institutions in the province.

The Speaker said that the previous PML-N government formed a Land mafia. He said that they earned money from every institution. “Everything will be exposed in a few days,” he said.

Pervaiz Elahi lauded Usman Buzdar

Pervaiz Elahi commended the incumbent Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar for running the provincial government smoothly and successfully.

Separately talking to media in Lahore today, the Punjab Senior Minister Aleem Khan said that they are taking an indiscriminate action against land mafia across the province.

Aleem Khan said that even a single case has not been registered against me during the last 10 years. He said that previous governments spent hospital and school funds on useless work.

“They looted the money. They should be asked about the public money?” he said.

In reply to a question about the upcoming by-elections in Punjab, Aleem Khan said that no minister will be involved in electioneering for any Candidate.

Commenting to another question, the minister said that the PML-N leader Rana Mashhood is day dreaming.
