ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani on Monday left for Myanmar to participate in the Parliamentary Induction Programme being held from February 15 to 19.

The Parliamentary Induction Programme has been organized by the Government of Myanmar and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Yangon, Myanmar, said a press release.

The Chairman Senate is visiting there on the special invitation of UNDP/IPU Parliamentary Support Programme to the Parliament of Myanmar.

During his stay in Myanmar, Raza Rabbani will also deliver a special lecture on ‘Separation of Power and the Role of Legislatures.’
