ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Prime Minster Imran Khan will address the PTI’s Foundation Day “Youm-e-Tasees” Ceremony to be held at Jinnah Convention Centre in Islamabad on May 1.

In his address, Imran Khan will deliver a historic speech and explain the future strategy and targets of PTI.

In addition to that, the chronicle of decades-long struggle of PTI will be presented in the Ceremony.

The revised draft of PTI Constitution will be presented exclusively for the formal approval of the National Council of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Following the approval of the party Constitution, the process of raising party structures at central and provincial level will be initiated.

Meanwhile, in an important meeting of PTI leadership held on Tuesday at the PTI’s Central Secretariat in Islamabad with the Chief Organiser PTI Saifullah Khan Nyazee in the Chair, it was decided to celebrate Youm e Tasees of the party with full fervor and passion.

Speaking at the occasion, Saifullah Khan Nyazee stated that the party is at a very significant stage of its evolution. He said that it is the need of hour to transform the party into an exemplary political institution.

“We pledge to play our part in the progress of the Country and will continue to strive hard to achieve our milestones”, he said in concluding remarks.

The meeting was attended by the Central Additional Secretary General Ejaz Ahmed Chaudhary, Senator Faisal Javed, Dr. Abul Hassan and others.

On the sidelines of Bahrain International Airshow, Commander of Ninth Air Force (US Air Forces Central Command — AFCENT), Lieutenant General Derek France called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force. The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
