ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Spokesperson has strongly condemned the shameful act to bring the PTI Vice President Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi to the court in handcuffs.
In a statement on Wednesday, he demanded that the strict action should be taken against those responsible for bringing the PTI Vice Chairman to the Court in handcuffs.
“The state machinery seems all-set to renounce civility and decency after criminal deviance from the constitution and law,” he said.
The PTI Spokesperson says that treating the political prisoners like criminals is shameful and fascism, adding Shah Mahmood Qureshi is fully cooperating in the investigation despite the fake and false case.
The Spokesperson says that the purpose of maltreating and humiliating the elected leadership and public representatives is actually to weaken politics in the country, which is also unlawful and unethical act.
“The state machinery should show civility and respect for the national leadership and treat them with due respect instead of making records of shamelessness,” he advised.
The PTI Spokesperson makes it clear that no tactic of cruelty, coercion and humiliation can neither compel the people and leaders to accept mayhem and lawlessness nor force them to tolerate deviation from the Constitution.
