ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday nominated Arif Ur Rehman Alvi, publicly known as Dr Arif Alvi, as its Candidate for the President.

The election for the 13th President of Pakistan will be held on September 4, 2008.

The tenure of the incumbent President Mamnoon Hussain – who assumed the Office of the President on September 9, 2013 – will be completed on September 8.

Dr Arif Alvi won the election held on July 25, 2018 from NA-247 Karachi South-II Constituency with 90,907 votes.
