ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has issued tickets to Firdous Ashiq Awan, Shehryar Khan Afridi, Shaukat Ali Yousafzai and Hameeda Shahid.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the PTI Central Media Department said that the PTI Central Parliamentary Board has issued more tickets to Candidates for 2018 general elections.

It was decide to field Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan from NA-72 Sialkot in upcoming general elections.

Shehryar Afridi has been awarded PTI ticket to contest the election from the National Assembly Kohat Constituency.

Likewise, Shaukat Yousafzai and Hameed Shahid will contest the general elections for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Seats from Shangla and Dir respectively.

It is worth mentioning here that Upper Dir is a region where women were not allowed to cast votes in the past. The PTI decided to field a woman as its Candidate from Dir Constituency instead of a man.

The Chairman PTI Imran Khan has given his approval to issue tickets to both these leaders.
