ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has formed a Committee to review the postings and transfers of federal and provincial bureaucrats ahead of July 25 general elections.

In a statement issued by the PTI Central Media Department on Thursday, the PTI Spokesman said that the Committee members include Shafqat Mehmood, Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhry.

The Committee would hold its meeting in Islamabad on Friday (tomorrow) under the Chairmanship of Imran Khan.

The PTI Spokesman said that they aimed at to ensure holding of free, transparent and impartial elections across the Country. He said that a competent and impartial election machinery is indispensable for credible and fair elections.

The Spokesman said that they would review that which people across the Country especially in Punjab and Sindh have been assigned responsibilities. He said that the PTI would give its response over these postings and transfers on Friday.

On Wednesday, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) accorded approval for transfer and posting of bureaucrats in Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan provinces.
