Following sealing a victory in general elections 2018, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led by its Chairman Imran Khan has initiated the consultation process for finalizing the names of its Federal Cabinet members, Governors, Chief Ministers in Punjab & Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces, and heads of various state-run institutions.

Though except names of Imran Khan as the Prime Minister and Asad Umar as the Finance Minister, no other name has yet been officially confirmed for any portfolio or position; however, according to credible sources, following names are likely to be announced for various positions;

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Pakistan today on a two-day official visit and he will hold meetings with civil and military leadership of Pakistan. This is his first visit to Pakistan after Israel attacked Iran in response to Iranian attack on certain Israeli cities.
