ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced the schedule of its countrywide public gatherings as part of its ongoing membership campaign.

The Chairman PTI Imran Khan would address the public gatherings in which besides highlighting party’s policy on wide range of issues, he would also respond to ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) former President Nawaz Sharif’s anti-judiciary tirade.

As per the schedule, Imran Khan would address the public gathering in Sheikhupura on March 9, Faisalabad on March 11, Gujarat on March 13, Jhelum March 14, Multan on March 15, Gujranwala on March 16, and Lahore March 17.

Imran Khan will also visit Karachi wherein he would address the people on March 19 and 20.

Meanwhile in a tweet, Imran Khan strongly criticized the government for increasing the prices of petroleum products, and said “Again government chooses to target masses by adding to their burden of taxes with latest Petroleum products price hike. Shameful how government refuses to collect taxes from the powerful and allow Nawaz Sharif and others of their ilk to continue draining national resources through money laundering.”

His tweet arrived after the federal government revised prices of petroleum products for March 2018.

The new prices of per liter petroleum products are; petrol Rs 88.07, Hi-speed diesel Rs 98.45, kerosene oil Rs 76.46 and light diesel oil Rs 65.30.

Moscow says it won’t allow US to silence UNSC on Israeli violence against Palestinians Monitoring Desk: Russian envoy in United Nations Vasily Nebenzya said that the UN Security Council should bring peace, stability and prosperity to the Middle East and Russia would not allow United States to silence UNSC over the issue of Gaza crisis. According to TASS news Agency, Nebenzya said that Moscow will continue to call for an end to violence against Palestinians and will not allow the US to muzzle the UN Security Council as Washington seeks to support Israel's operation in Gaza. "We will continue to stand firmly for ending violence against the Palestinians. Without a shadow of a doubt, we will continue to expose the abuses and sanctimony with which the US is handling the situation.
