ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has claimed to have achieved the required numbers to form its governments in the Centre and Punjab.

While talking to media in Islamabad on Monday, the PTI Central Secretary Information Fawad Chaudhry said that they have the support of 168 lawmakers in the Center and 180 in Punjab. He said that four more independents will join PTI soon.

Fawad Chaudhry reiterated that the Chief Minister Punjab will be from PTI. He said that Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) will be our coalition partners in the Center and Punjab.

The PTI Central Secretary Information also said that there will be a coalition government in Balochistan province.

Talking about Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan’s (MQM-P) support, Fawad Chaudhry said that Jahangir Tareen will meet MQM’ leaders in Karachi and seek their support.

Meanwhile, a PML-Q delegation comprising including Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Moonis Elahi and others also met Imran Khan at Banigala in Islamabad today and congratulated him on PTI’s victory in elections 2018.

The PML-Q leadership extended full support to PTI in formation of governments in the Centre and Punjab.

Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that they are full agreed with Imran Khan’s manifesto and program for the betterment of the Country.

Imran Khan thanked the PML-Q leadership for extending its support to PTI.

Separately in a statement, the PTI Central Information Department said that more independents having won on various national and provincial assemblies seats joined PTI today after meeting with the Chairman Imran Khan in Banigala.

The Central Information Department said that Sanaullah Khan Masti Khel – elected in elections 2018 from NA-97 Bhakkar-I, Saeed Akbar Niwani – elected from PP-90 Bhakkar-II, Ameer Muhammad Khan – elected from PP-89 Bhakkar-I, Muhammad Abdul Ghafar Wattoo – elected from NA-166 Bahawalnagar-I, Fida Watto – elected from Bahawalnagar as member of Punjab assembly, Abdul Hai Dasti– elected from Muzaffargarh as member of Punjab assembly met Imran Khan and announced to extend full support to PTI.

The newly joined lawmakers expressed full trust on PTI leadership and its manifesto.
