LAHORE, Pakistan: The Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that they have set the priorities to ensure prosperity for the people of Punjab.

While presiding over a three-hour long meeting held in Lahore on Thursday in which priorities in the annual development program for next eight months of the ongoing financial years were reviewed, the Chief Minister said that education, health, provision of clean drinking water, and sustainable development of other sectors are among their priorities.

Usman Buzdar said that a realistic development program is being devised for these sectors. He said that the development program will reflect Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) manifesto.

The Chief Minister said that such a development program is being devised which will eventually benefit the common men. He also said that a special emphasize will be laid down on empowering youth.

Funds will be increased for the development of backward areas: Usman Buzdar

Sardar Usman Buzdar also said that the people of Southern Punjab and less developed areas will be given their rights. He said that funds will be increased for the development of backward areas.

The Punjab Finance Minister Hashim Jawan Bakht, the Chief Secretary and concerned officials attended the meeting.

Meanwhile in a spate statement, Usman Buzdar said that the PTI government with the support of the people will steer the Country out of the whirlpool of problems. He said that those who pushed Pakistan into debt trap are its real enemies.

Usman Buzdar said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision of Pakistan is a guarantor to the brighter future of the Country.
