ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) met with President Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain to discuss the upcoming presidential election.

Both sides discussed the option of boycotting the presidential election. Other issues regarding presidential election were also discussed.

President Pakistan Muslim League-Q Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has expressed his desire for a consensus candidate for the presidential election.

Talking to media after a meeting with PPP delegation lead by Raza Rabbani in Islamabad today‚ Shujaat said PML-Q has to consult with political parties to discuss the strategy for presidential election.

He said by tonight they will reach to some conclusion in this regard and will announce their support accordingly.
