Islamabad, Pakistan: District wise Polling Scheme for KPK Provincial Assembly for Provincial Assembly General Elections 2018 of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly (KPK) indicates that there are 15.31 million registered voters in the province including 6.6 million female voters.
KPK Provincial Assembly is the Parliamentary body of the KPK province and was formed under Article 106 of the 1973 Constitution of the Pakistan. Voters elect 99 members of provincial assembly through voting while 22 seats are reserved for females and three seats are reserved for Non-Muslims. Total seats in the House is 124.
Total seats of KPK would increase in net elections as FATA is being merged into KPK province.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) bagged 48 seats in 2013 elections and formed the government in KPK with the help of independent winners along with Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and the Qaumi Watan Party (QMP) as PTI did not get simple majority to form the government.
