ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar on Tuesday said after winning NA-154 by elections, PML- N would also shock its opponents by achieving a historic victory in the 2018 general elections.
“No power on earth could remove Nawaz Sharif from the hearts of the people”, Captain (retd) Safdar said while talking to a Private News Channel.
Safdar said the nation had announced its verdict by supporting PML-N Candidate Pir Muhammad Iqbal Shah in NA-154 Lodhran by-elections.
“Votes of people should be respected and sanctity of ballot must be maintained for putting the country on track of progress and prosperity,” he said. “Respect vote to get respect in return”.
The elements engaged in the politics of anarchy should learn a lesson from their continued defeats, he highlighted.
The PML-N leader said the success of ruling party in Lodhran by-election was a proof that people like their policies, adding the people’s court was giving the verdict whether Nawaz Sharif was eligible or not. He said PML-N was serving the masses wholeheartedly and would contest next elections on the basis of its performance.
Responding to a question, Captain (retd) Safdar said that the Co-Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari came into power without anything in hands.
Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar said the justice would be given on the day when former President Pervez Musharraf would also be detained.
