ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday issued details of assets held by political parties, according to which, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is the richest political party in the Country with assets worth Rs 222,116,406 (PML-N assets).
As per the documents, with assets worth Rs 165,384,423 and Rs 116,424,836, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stand at second and third numbers respectively.
Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has assets worth Rs 110,653,978, Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) has assets worth Rs 58,100,480, Awami National Party (ANP) has Rs 41,726,350, and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) has Rs 28,273,592.
Likewise, Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) possesses assets worth Rs 35,65,818, Pakistani Awami League has Rs 19,10,434, Sheikh Rasheed’s Awami Muslim League (AML) has Rs 288,268 and Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) has Rs 30,250.
Imran Khan owns assets worth Rs 38,694,000 & Hamza Shahbaz has over Rs 411,540,000
The ECP also released details of assets owned by the Parliamentarians from various political parties.
PPP’s Sherry Rehman owns assets worth over Rs 770,000,000, Mian Raza Rabbani has Rs 100,000,000 and Saleem Mandviwalla has Rs 30,000,000.
PML-N’s Hamza Shahbaz has assets worth over Rs 411,540,000, Raja Zafar Ul Haq has assets worth Rs 40,000,000, Mushahid Ullah Khan has Rs 30,000,000.
Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Chairman PTI Imran Khan owns assets worth Rs 38,694,000.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Farogh Naseem also holds assets worth over Rs 170,000,000.
