ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday said his party will seek formation of a National Commission to reach truth about important issues.
Talking to reporters at the Accountability Court in Islamabad, he said there was no load shedding during the PML-N government which added 10,000 megawatts to the national grid. He said now the caretaker government would be responsible for load shedding.
Nawaz Sharif wondered how a single bench of the court can throw out the law made by the Parliament. He said he had no objection about information asked from candidates in the nomination form.
To a question about allegations against PML-N regarding book of Reham Khan, he said when his political opponents could not find anything else, they leveled baseless allegation. He said he wanted to go for Umra but could not because of the court proceedings.
