ISLAMABAD:  Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has ordered all the federal secretaries to cancel the contracts of the corrupt officers.

In a letter to the federal secretaries, he said the government’s top priority is to root out corruption from the society. He said that there is no room for corrupt persons in our government.

The Prime Minister directed that for better results his directives should be implemented in letter and spirit.

He said that the people of good repute should be appointed as the people elected this government and gave its mandate to root out corruption. He said corruption is a big hurdle in the way to provide facilities to people.

He said the officials of bad repute cannot provide good governance. He also directed that transparency and law should be exercised at all costs in the ministries.
