  • A slew of PTI members deny media reports about joining of new party

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The newly political party led by Pervez Khattak suffered a major blow within half hour of its launch as a slew of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders belied the media reports about their joining of the new party, which was based on lies and fraud.

As the news of launch of new party splashed on the TV Channels, the PTI members, whose names were fallaciously and maliciously included in the list, started issuing denial statements within half of hour of the launch.

The PTI members’ rebuttal statements in such a massive level dashed the dream of those elements who wanted to dent PTI, as the new party crumbled and evaporated in the air instantly.

The names wrongly shared with the media, nine of them so far distanced themselves from the new party and strongly denied the media reports regarding their joining the new party.

The statements of PTI members were a testimony that the party had no status in the political scene.

Iftikhar Mashwani, Malik Shaukat, Taj Muhammad Khan, Pir Musawar Khan and Sajida Zulfiqar strongly denied report of joining Pervez Khattak-led party.

Similarly, the former Deputy Speaker Mehmood Jan formally denied reports about parting ways with the PTI.

The former MPA Swat Azizullah Khan and former MPA Abbottabad Qalandar Khan Lodhi also denied joining the new party.

The former MPA Lower Azam Khan also denied the news about joining Pervaiz Khattak’s party in his video message.

Azam Khan categorically stated that he was a soldier of Imran Khan and would be his soldier till his last breath.
