PoliticsPeople to re-elect PML-N in upcoming polls despite conspiracies: Nawaz Sharif

KOT MOMIN, Pakistan: The former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday said once again conspiracies were hatched in the Country but hoped that people would re-elect the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in upcoming general elections.

While addressing a public gathering in Kot Momin Tehsil of Sargodha District, Nawaz Sharif said today’s public gathering was the decision of the Court of people.

“People have rejected the Court’s verdict,” Nawaz Sharif while referring to the July 28, 2017 decision of the Supreme Court in Panama Papers Case which led his life-time disqualification as a lawmaker, a key eligibility to become the Country’s prime minister.

The PML-N president said with indefatigable efforts, the PML-N government succeeded to end load shedding in the Country.

“We will ensure change in the Country,” Nawaz Sharif further said.

Earlier, the PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz said in her address that people of Sargodha had indomitable love for Nawaz Sharif, adding the opponents were afraid of his popularity.

Maryam Nawaz said opponents were levelling false allegations against Sharif family but yet his popularity among the people didn’t diminish. She said the PML-N government was working hard to provide relief to people.

Other PML-N leaders including the Federal Minister for Privatization Daniyal Aziz and Senator Asif Kirmani were also present on the stage.
