ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday said the people should have decided that whether a politician was eligible enough to rule them or not; rather, the Supreme Court wrote the fate of politicians.
However, Bilawal Bhutto blamed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for judicializing the politics in the Country.
I am of the belief that it’s the people of Pakistan who should make such decisions about the fate of politicians. Unfortunately it is PTI & PMLN themselves who have forced the judicialization of our politics. Naehal Nawaz & Tareen must now face the consequences of their actions.

His remarks surfaced in a tweet after the Supreme Court of Pakistan ruled that disqualification handed down under Article 62 (1)(f) of the Constitution was for life – a verdict which barred PML-N’s Nawaz Sharif and PTI’s Jahangir Khan Tareen from holding public office ever.
Earlier talking to media following the Supreme Court’s verdict determining the length of a disqualification under Article 62 (1)(f), the Opposition Leader in the National Assembly and PPP senior leader Syed Khursheed Shah said PML-N should have accepted the Supreme Court’s verdict.
Khursheed Shah said PPP believed in the supremacy of the Parliament. He said enemies of Pakistan, democracy and the people violated sanctity of the Parliament and the Constitution.
