Pak govt to inform Qadri about assemblies’ dissolution in ten days

LAHORE: The government of Pakistan will inform Chief of Tehrik-e-Minhajul Quran (TMQ) Dr. Tahirul Qadri about the dissolution of legislative bodies within ten days, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Sunday.

The government team led by PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujjat Hussain met Tahirul Qadri at the Tehrik-e-Minhajul Quran secretariat in Lahore on Sunday to hold talks on how to move forward on the ‘Islamabad Long March Declaration’.

During the meeting, the team also recommended that discussions regarding the caretaker prime minister should be held during the next meeting.

Meanwhile, Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira said that cases against participants of the sit-in have also been withdrawn.

Members of the ruling coalition including Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira, Syed Khurshid Shah, Farooq Sattar and others while as many representatives from the TMQ led by Qadri took part in the meeting.
