ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister for Privatization Daniyal Aziz on Wednesday said Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) were supporting Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s (PAT) protest to destabilize the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) government.

Talking to media persons outside the Parliament House in Islamabad, the minister said the Model Town case could not further be proceeded due to changing of FIRs by PAT.

Daniyal Aziz said people who were talking about sit-in had problem with the transition of one democratic government to another democratic government, and people of the Country were well aware about their politics.

The minister said in the past, the PAT Chief Tahir-ul-Qadri had used derogatory language against Asif Ali Zardari and Imran Khan but now they were united against the government.

The privatization minister also said Kasur incident was tragic but political parties were doing politics on it.

Furthermore, the minister said PML-N was the only political party which can strengthen the economy of the Country. He said the development of infrastructure and strengthening of economy was credit of the PML-N government.

Daniyal said the Chairman PTI Imran Khan had claimed to install 350 power stations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and plantation of billions of samplings but he (Imran Khan) remained fail badly to achieve this target.

On the sidelines of Bahrain International Airshow, Commander of Ninth Air Force (US Air Forces Central Command — AFCENT), Lieutenant General Derek France called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force. The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
