PoliticsOpposition leader urges probe into OBL report leakage

ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Khursheed Shah has called for probe into leakage of Abbottabad Commission report.

Talking to newsmen in Islamabad on Wednesday, Shah said that leakage of Abbottabad commission’s report to foreign media should be investigated.

“I have asked for the opinion of Farooq Naek about naming Justice (retd) Bhagwandas as chairman of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). His name will be withdrawn if his recommendation was found to be legally in-correct.”

To a question, he said that “We are hearing that parliamentary conference on national security was postponed due to absence of Imran Khan.”

Pakistan’s security should not be linked with any individual, he said, adding that absence of parliamentary leaders from the conference is raising doubts.

Imran Khan, he said, should give priority to national security.
