PoliticsNow PML-N to chalk out new strategy: Maryam Nawaz

ISLAMABAD/MULTAN, Pakistan: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz on Thursday said the ruling party would chalk out a new strategy after the Supreme Court declared Nawaz Sharif ineligible to remain as head of the PML-N.

“Now we will move ahead with a new strategy,” Maryam Nawaz said in a meeting with the PML-N workers at Punjab House in Islamabad.

Maryam Nawaz asked the PML-N workers as they were seeing what was happening with their beloved leader. She said in the whole World, the progress was awarded with rewards but in Pakistan, a leader was punished for the progress he ensured in the Country.

The PML-N leader Pervaiz Rasheed also said in a statement in Islamabad that Nawaz Sharif had been struggling for the credibility of democracy in the Country.

Pervaiz Rasheed said the former prime minister had been fighting to foil the attempts to bring controlled democracy.

“The public has rejected court verdicts against Nawaz Sharif,” the former Information Minister said.

Meanwhile talking to media persons in Multan, senior politician and the former PML-N leader Javed Hashmi said Nawaz Sharif had sacrificed a lot for politics, and according to the latter, he would continue to fight the Constitutional war for democracy and sanctity of vote.

Javed Hashmi further said the Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and his associates remained in the National assembly despite of resigning from the House.
