HARIPUR, Pakistan: The former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday said he would keep on serving the people though he was forced out by some elements on false allegations.
While addressing a public gathering in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Haripur City, Nawaz Sharif said he was impressed by the response of people of Haripur.
The President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) said the people of Pakistan had rejected the verdict announced by the Supreme Court in July last year, which led his ouster as the Country’s prime minister as well as the member of the Parliament.
Nawaz Sharif also said the incumbent government led by PML-N had fulfilled the promises, it had made with the people during the elections 2013 campaign.
Commenting on the recent Joint Opposition Protest at Mall Road in Lahore, Nawaz Sharif said the show of opponents in Lahore was flopped, and the people had rejected politics of opponents.
In her address, the PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz said the people of Haripur always trusted the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.
Maryam Nawaz said the opposition parties staged a flop show in Lahore two days ago, adding they failed to topple down the PML-N government.
The PML-N leader said despite conspiracies, people voted for Nawaz Sharif, and they would again elect him in 2018 general elections. She said unfortunately an elected prime minister was ousted through a decision of five judges.
