Islamabad, Pakistan: Zahid Malik, a leader of MQM, has said that the political and religious parties who are opposing Operation Azm-e-Istehkam are pursuing the agenda of destabilizing the country and this act of political parties would help to promote terrorism and is a betrayal of the sacrifices of martyrs. Zahid Malik, while talking to party workers in Islamabad, said that the three political parties of the country have opposed the anti-Pakistan forces and are shielding terrorists.
‘They (three political parties) do not care about the people, the martyrs, and the economy, but these three political parties are only keeping their political interests the most dear. Parents of the martyred innocent children of APS and the families of those martyred while fighting terrorism are asking such political parties for whom their sons gave their lives?’, maintained Zahid Malik.
He requested Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif and the Chief of the Pakistan Army, General Asim Munir, to play their legal role on this serious issue so that the state of Pakistan does not change its position and actions should also be taken against the anti-national elements who support the forces that make terror against innocent people.
‘Now such political parties are anxious over the announcement of ‘Operation Azm-e-Istehkam’ and they are collaborating to protect their vested interests because many of them understand that Operation Azm-e-Istehkam would be deep-rooted and it would not only just military actions rather it will unearth connections of facilitators of smugglers, terrorists and everybody that is directly or indirectly involved in destabilizing Pakistan and working to discourage foreign investments in Pakistan. By blocking Operation Azm-e-Istehkam, they are trying to serve their economic interests but at the cost of the stability and well-being of their country—-Pakistan. Should patriotic Pakistan not stand against such elements?’, concluded Zahid Malik.
