ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chief of Jamiat-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman has announced to stage a sit-in at D-Chowk in Islamabad on October 27.

While addressing a Press Conference in Islamabad on Thursday, the JUI-F Chief said that they have decided to express solidarity with oppressed Kashmiris on October 27. He alleged that the government has comprised on Kashmir issue.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman demanded that general elections held on July 25, 2018 be declared null and void, and fresh polls be conducted.

The JUI-F Chief said that the Country’s economy has plummeted due to the incumbent government’s policies. He said that the rising inflation has made the people’s lives miserable.

In addition, he ruled out the possibility of altering the date of Islamabad sit-in. He said that convoys from throughout the Country will participate in their Azadi March. He expressed hope that they would gather 1.5 million people for the March.

The JUI-F Chief said that they have set the date for Azadi March in consultation with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
