PoliticsMarriyum Aurangzeb questions impartially of NAB

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The State Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb on Monday questioned the impartially of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), saying an exemption was being given to that person who had attacked the Parliament.

“Which of the NAB will take action against corruption in KPK?” the minister said while talking to media in Islamabad with reference to the Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan’s allegations against the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said allegations could be leveled against anyone but the real thing how to prove them in the Court.

The information minister said only one party was being targeted before the upcoming Senate elections but expressed the hope that PML-N would win the polls.

The minister said conspiracy had been hatched to suspend Senate elections and disintegrate PML-N.

Meanwhile talking to media persons, the State Minister for Interior Talal Chaudhry said Imran Khan should have asked his “Peerni” to find out disappeared Faisal Subhan, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a Construction Company who had allegedly been found involved in corruption by the Chinese Regulatory Authority.

Talal Chaudhry said no caliber of NAB left after the British forensic expert Robert Redlay’s statement before the Court regarding the Calibri font. “Is any credibility of supplementary reference left after his statement?” the minister said.

Regarding the arrest of former Director General Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Ahad Cheema, the minister said the protest of bureaucrats against the arrest of Ahad Cheema in Ashiana-i-Iqbal Housing Scheme Corruption Scandal and his maltreatment by the NAB was their right.
