ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Friday expressed sorrow over a campaign launched in social media against Malala Yousafzai, the terror attack survivor Nobel Laureate who arrived in Pakistan on Thursday after more than five years.

Talking to media persons outside the Accountability Court in Islamabad, Marriyum Aurangzeb said Malala Yousafzai’s visit to Pakistan was a Country’s victory against terrorism.

The information minister said the people who had left the Country after becoming victims of terrorism, were now coming back and that was the success of whole nation, the security forces and law enforcement agencies (LEAs) against terrorism.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) presented a vision of peaceful Pakistan in its manifesto.

Talking about the NAB references hearing, the minister said the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) Head Wajid Zia had failed to present even a single evidence though he had been recording his statement since last three days. She said Wajid Zia’s statement had strengthened stance of Sharif family.

The minister said Sharif family submitted three documents along with money trail which were being presented as proof. She said the nation had known that it was a political case rather than corruption case.
