ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The State Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb on Wednesday called Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan “a failed politician”, and said he forgot to write ‘fake Khan’ in his yesterday’s tweet.
“My name is Khan and I am not a terrorist. Moreover, the SC (Supreme Court) has pronounced me Sadiq and Ameen and I am coming after them crooks!” Imran Khan wrote on his twitter account on Tuesday after his bail plea in four Cases including 2014 PTV Headquarters attack Case was accepted by the Accountability Court in Islamabad.
“It will be better if he writes ‘fake Khan’ in his tweet,” Marriyum Aurangzeb said today while talking to media in Islamabad wherein the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif along with his Daughter Maryam Nawaz and Son-in-Law Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar once again appeared before the accountability judge Muhammad Bashir for hearing of three Corruption References filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Marriyum Aurangzeb said the people of Pakistan did not elect Imran Khan as the prime minister. She said Imran Khan had been making failed attempts to become Shah Rukh Khan.
The information minister further said Nawaz Sharif was again appearing before the Court, adding Imran Khan should have also been answerable for attacking the Parliament and Pakistan Televisions (PTV) Headquarters in Islamabad.
