ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Senator Asif Kirmani on Monday said there were no differences among Sharif family members, adding that it was just a desire of opponents.
Talking to media in Islamabad, Asif Kirmani said PML-N had been united and would always be united under the leadership of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Senator Asif Kirmani said Working Committee and General Council would decide about the PML-N President.
It is pertinent to mention here that last week PML-N succeeded to narrowly win a support to pass the Elections Reforms Bill 2017 in Opposition Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) dominated Senate, paving the way for disqualified Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to lead PML-N again.
Meanwhile, the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif returned to Pakistan on Monday morning after spending almost a month in London where he spent time with his ailing wife Begum Kalsoom Nawaz.
Asif Kirmani said he felt sorrow for those who had been talking negatively about the return of Nawaz Sharif. He said Nawaz Sharif would appear before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) tomorrow (Tuesday) as he had always respected Courts. He said Nawaz Sharif had been doing political and legal consultations.
The PML-N leader further said Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan was a non-serious person, adding that there was no maturity in his politics.
Earlier after making his return to Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif presided over a consultative meeting of PML-N at Punjab House in Islamabad.
The meeting was attended by federal ministers and other party leaders, and discussed prevailing political situation in the Country.
