ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar on Saturday said justice should be prevailed equally for all, adding the judges should serve the masses with passion and honesty.

While addressing the meeting of National Judicial Policy Making Committee in Islamabad, the Chief Justice said the judiciary was an important organ of the State and it had to fulfill its responsibilities.

Justice Saqib Nisar said any impediment including unfavorable working conditions should not come in the way of the judges to dispense justice to the masses.

The Chief Justice said the Constitution was the supreme document whilst the Parliament which framed laws was the Supreme Institution.

“We are subservient to the laws formulated by the Parliament,” the Chief Justice said adding the judges should have full grasp over the laws.

The Chief Justice said the judiciary was bound to decide cases in accordance with the laws.

Moreover, Justice Saqib Nisar said some people told lies and tried to make conflicts between departments which, he added, would not benefit the Country. He said all should forgive each other as there was no other way.
